In June 2022, Emma traveled to Ireland for a residency to develop Colm Summers’ and Ciara Ní Chuirc’s new play, Purgatory: After Yeats. The residency, sponsored by the Irish Arts Council, consisted of one week in Waterford, with a reading at Garter Lane Arts Centre, and one week in Dublin, with a reading at Fishamble.

In May 2022, Emma assisted director Colm Summers on A.A. Brenner’s play, Blanche and Stella: A Sequela, at Columbia University. The play is a modern, queer, disabled adaptation of Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire.

In April 2022, Emma assisted director Colm Summers on Classical Theatre Harlem, Young Company’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Columbia University. She also served as props master and went on to perform as the understudy for Lysander.
